About

I’m Connor Mendenhall, a student at the University of Arizona, where I study economics and international political economy. Last year, I was the op-ed editor of the Arizona Daily Wildcat, where I wrote opinion columns and editorials. Some of my articles are available here. I spent this summer working at a Washington, DC think tank studying the Internet and the global information economy. This year, I’m living in Ankara, Turkey and attending Middle East Technical University, where I’ll hopefully improve my abhorrent Turkish before returning to Tucson to finish up my undergraduate studies.

In my spare time, I shop around my screenplay, “Baseball Cop,” which tells the story of a renegade homicide detective assigned to coach a little league team of misfit kids, infiltrate a nefarious drug ring, and avenge the death of his father. I also curate an online collection of Simon & Garfunkel covers.
